The search for an internship in Los Angeles now bears fruit. Last Friday, I had an interview at a young production company. Let’s just say it went well.
The fun game and toy company Hasbro has expanded its production in the world of entertainment. Within the last year, or so, Hasbro established Hasbro Studios to have a more direct hand in the film and television content derived from their products.
Transformers, G.I. Joe, Battleship and even My Little Pony have spawned movies and television shows, and it seems that trend continues. While Hasbro studios works to create content, they’ve gone one step further.
Welcome to the Hub
Hasbro will launch a joint television channel with Discovery Communications called ‘The Hub’. The official press release can be read here.
This place is so new, they were just putting the sign on the building when I went to interview:
The awesome part about this new channel is Hasbro Studios will be making new versions of some great cartoons.
I’m happy to say that I will be their first ever intern at The Hub. While I will be a bit of a guinea pig, learning how they create cartoons should be well worth it.
I’m looking forward to this experience.
